Luc Boudreau

I am glad you have found your way here and considering counseling.  Taking this first step takes courage.  My name is Luc Boudreau and I am a registered Occupational Therapist and Psychotherapist.  I hold a degree in Psychology and another in Occupational Therapy.

I have been practicing in this field for over 20 years.  My work has taken me across Canada and to the USA.  I have worked in various settings including inpatient, outpatient, community health, disability management clinics, private practice and also as a college professor.  I find great satisfaction in helping people regain a sense of control and purpose in their daily lives,

People consult with me about a variety of concerns, from work problems, career changes, self esteem/self confidence, LGBTQ+ issues, anxiety, depression, PTSD, dealing with loss, history of abuse/neglect, infidelity, recovery from illness, anger management, etc.

I am trained in various therapeutic modalities, and provide an integrative approach using the tools that fit best with each person.  I believe that the relationship between the client and the therapist is the most important agent for change.  My approach is empathic, supportive and I believe in working collaboratively with clients to reach their goals in therapy.  I believe strongly in a client’s ability to create positive changes through their own strengths and resources. I am also bilingual in English and French and can assist you in either language.

I am thankful every day that I have the chance to serve others while doing a job that I am truly passionate about.  Every year, I continue to expand my knowledge base and clinical skills through various continuing education courses.  I also continue to teach various classes, seminars and educational retreats at home and abroad.  Make sure to subscribe to my mailing list for upcoming personal transformation and empowerment retreats.
