Getting started...


I work with individual clients over the age of 18 and with couples.   


All psychotherapy sessions are offered via telehealth (video conferencing) for clients living in Ontario and British Columbia (Canada). 

Once your first appointment has been scheduled, you will then receive an email with a link to access our session. 


The main goal of our first meeting is to learn about you and your situation. We will discuss goals and put together an initial plan for therapy.  

How I work...

You don't have to do this alone.  I'll be by your side every step of the way.  Inside of you, there is a confident and empowered person.  But sometimes that true self gets buried under past experiences or present problems that leave you feeling confused or hopeless.  Maybe you think you need to try harder, stop making a big deal about nothing, or brush aside your needs. 


But here's the thing: your feelings make sense!   So, it's time to understand and care for yourself in a new way.  I believe every person has the ability to heal themselves, to feel more connected, and to live with more ease.  And i understand how scary it can feel to navigate this healing journey alone.  This is why i've spent the last 20 years helping my clients transform their pain into freedom.  

Here is how i'm different: 

  • I integrate neuroscience with psychology to help rewire the brain

  • I use an intuitive and integrated approach based on trauma-focused principles that restores the heart, brain and spirit.  

  • I have advanced training in CBT, ACT, DBT, IFS, EMDR, Psychodynamic, Gottman Therapy and Mindfulness Practices. 



Fees reflect the type of service sought (psychotherapy or coaching).  During our initial consultation, therapeutic guidelines will be established and fees outlined.

If you have private health benefits, you may qualify for occupational therapy and/or psychotherapy  services.  I practice psychotherapy under my occupational therapy license.  I recommend checking with your benefits manager to determine whether you have coverage. 


I do not offer direct billing to insurance providers.  However, I am happy to provide you with a detailed receipt after each session, which can be submitted to your provider for reimbursement. 



Coaching services are available for clients all over the world. 


Coaching provides a safe and stimulating environment to spur personal growth.   It's a modality that focuses on the present and moving a person forward.  Coaching helps you identify and remove the obstacles to your success, and allows you to create actionable plans with detailed steps for achieving your goals. The coaching process nurtures you and helps you maintain accountability to make dynamic adjustments that sustain your advancement.

My Approach

My approach to coaching helps you gain insight into your intention, motivation, and goals, as well as the obstacles that keep you from achieving what you want. You will experience a safe judgment-free environment to explore all your thoughts and questions. I offer a variety of evidence-based tools to explore and assess your emotional intelligence, values, strengths, relationships, as well as career and life aspirations. I help you create a sequential plan so you aren't overwhelmed and can take it one step at a time, learning new skills, building confidence, and increasing initiative. 


Using a holistic approach, combining traditional coaching with traditional psychotherapeutic tools, you experience greater confidence and willingness to take appropriate risks to move your life forward. An integrated coaching program positively impacts your quality of life.

When you find yourself stuck, you will receive compassionate encouragement to face your fears, as well as science-based techniques to resolve and overcome emotional blocks.
