I work with individuals over the age of 18 and with couples, however I do not provide family therapy. I also offer one-on-one coaching sessions for those individuals wishing to get the next level in their personal and professional lives.
At this time, I only offer sessions via teletherapy (video conferencing). See more information on teletherapy in FAQ section.
Once your first appointment has been scheduled, you will then receive an email with a link to access and electronically sign the consent forms. You will also receive a separate email with a secure link to access our session.
The main goal of our first meeting is to learn about you and your situation. We will discuss goals and put together an initial plan for therapy.

Fees reflect the type of service sought (psychotherapy or coaching). During our initial consultation and assessment by telephone or videoconference, therapeutic guidelines will be established and fees agreed.

Private counseling services are not covered by most provincial insurance programs. If you have private health benefits, you may have coverage for psychotherapy services. I recommend checking with your provider to determine whether you have coverage.
Unfortunately, I do not offer direct billing to insurance providers. I am happy however to provide you with a detailed receipt after each session, which can be submitted to your provider for reimbursement.
In order to be respectful to the needs of other clients, I ask that you let me know as soon as possible if you are unable to attend your appointment. Since appointments are in high demand, giving me an early cancelation notice will allow me to provide timely care to another client.
If it is necessary to cancel your scheduled psychotherapy appointment, I require that you email us at least 24 hours (1 business day) in advance. Monday appointments must be canceled by noon on Friday and appointments scheduled for the first day following a holiday must be canceled by noon on the last business day before the holiday. Appointments that are not canceled within policy guidelines will incur a late cancelation fee equivalent to the scheduled session’s full rate. Outstanding balances must be paid in full prior to rescheduling.

You will experience a safe judgment-free environment to explore all your thoughts and questions. I offer a variety of evidence-based tools to explore and assess your emotional intelligence, values, strengths, relationships, as well as career and life aspirations. I help you create a sequential plan so you aren't overwhelmed and can take it one step at a time, learning new skills, building confidence, and increasing initiative.
Using a holistic approach, combining traditional coaching with traditional psychotherapeutic tools, you experience greater confidence and willingness to take appropriate risks to move your life forward. An integrated coaching program positively impacts your quality of life.
When you find yourself stuck, you will receive compassionate encouragement to face your fears, as well as science-based techniques to resolve and overcome emotional blocks.
